By choosing the wine theme to celebrate together, we want to share one of the many passions bonding us together with our closest friends and family. It is our way of inviting you into our world, a world where each bottle tells a story and every sip is a new discovery. The warmth, laughter, and joy we experience with you on this day will stay with us forever, much like the lingering finish of a fine vintage!
How did the wine started?
“As many of you may know, I was born in the wine drinking culture and enjoyed the first sip since ‘day one’. Yet my understanding of wine was quite limited. I have always prefer white over red without knowing the exact reason why until I met her.”
“I didn’t start drinking until my twenties and have become the ‘alcoholic’ of the family since. My curiosity in wine grew into a fun journey over the year. Now, I have found the best companion to share this passion and discover the world together every day.“
Few years back, Ivy formalized her wine expertise into a WSET level 1 certification where she further learned about the various types of grape, critical role of climate to wines, and food pairing like a sommelier. As nerdy of a couple as we are, we put the theories from the book into real experiments.
Together we started exploring the world of wine in a way we surely did not expect… Wines from near or far, hidden gems or weird ones, but always an entertaining adventure and endless discovery!
So what’s next?
✨ We are planning a dream trip to the Marlborough wine region in New Zealand!
This picturesque area, renowned for its stunning landscapes and world-class wineries, is the perfect destination for our next adventure. We envision ourselves riding bicycles between vineyards, soaking in the breathtaking scenery, and savoring the unique flavors that this region has to offer. It’s a journey that will not only deepen our appreciation for wine but also allow us to create unforgettable memories together.

I am eager to embark on the WSET Level 1 certification, following in Ivy’s footsteps, while Ivy is set to pursue the Level 2 certification. These courses will enhance our knowledge and appreciation of wine, enabling us to share our passion with even greater expertise and enthusiasm.
